Join The Sun-Gazette and Visalia Chamber for a conversation on AI. This free event will feature a panel of local business leaders, discussing the values and fears that vex us about artificial intelligence.

Speakers:

Ryan Clark | Lantrn.ai

Ryan Clark is Chief Technology Officer of Lantrn.ai, a Visalia-area
startup building artificial intelligence tools for local newsrooms —
including the Sun-Gazette. A career software builder and founder, he
helps small organizations put AI to practical use: automating the
repetitive work that eats a small team's day, while keeping data and
tools owned locally rather than rented from big tech. He currently
builds AI systems for local journalism, food-supply traceability, and
community-owned infrastructure.

John Holling is the founder of SynergenIQ, an AI and automation consultancy based in Visalia, California. He works with businesses to evaluate their operations, identify where AI can make a real difference, implement the solutions, and train the teams who use them every day. His client work spans agriculture, energy, manufacturing, and professional services, with builds ranging from AI phone agents to custom workflow platforms. John also teaches AI implementation at the College of the Sequoias Training Resource Center, where he helps local professionals move past the hype and put these tools to practical use.

Kent H. Moore | ONEEYEDsocial

Through the removal of an eye and childhood blindness and being a stage 2 Kidney Cancer survivor, Kent is a Battle-tested Strategic Communications & Information Operations Specialist with over 15 years of experience aligning public relations and marketing messaging, protecting brand equity, and neutralizing informational risks across high-stakes military, B2B, B2C, political, and ultra-luxury sectors. Which also includes two and a half years as a civilian Public Affairs Specialist for the U.S. Army’s Central California Recruiting Battalion. An award-winning communicator with over 40 industry honors, he holds a foundational background in Argumentation and Persuasive theory alongside an advanced credential stack from Harvard, Oxford, and MIT. He brings a high-order analytical mindset to complex information environments.
