Leadership Recharge
Leadership Visalia Alumni Mini Sessions
Leadership Recharge brings Leadership Visalia alumni back together for engaging afternoon sessions focused on continued leadership growth, and connection. These mini sessions provide opportunities to explore timely leadership topics, hear from local experts, reconnect with fellow alumni, and gain practical insights that can be applied in the workplace and throughout the community. Each session is designed to strengthen leadership skills while continuing the shared commitment to driving Visalia forward.

Dan Griswold | Visalia Fire Department
Dan Griswold serves as the Fire Chief of the Visalia Fire Department. He relocated to Visalia in February 2020 after spending nearly 40 years in Casper, Wyoming, including more than 20 years with the Casper Fire Department. Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Wyoming and a master’s degree in Public Administration from Grand Canyon University. He is also a proud alumnus of Leadership Visalia, Class of 2024–2025. Outside of work, Dan, his wife, and their two children enjoy traveling and staying active with busy soccer schedules..
Petra Gaytan | Visalia Unified School District
Petra Gaytan is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 20 years of experience in the mental health field. She currently serves as an Education-Related Mental Health Clinician with Visalia Unified School District and maintains a private practice. Petra also works per diem at Kaweah Health as a Behavioral Health Clinician. Previously, she served as a Behavioral Health Team Manager at Kaweah Health, where she oversaw multiple teams.
Born and raised in Tulare County, Petra is committed to continuing to grow as a leader and to providing compassionate, high-quality support to clients, students, and staff. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Alumni in Action: Leading Locally, Giving Back Together
Our Leadership Visalia Alumni came together for two volunteer projects supporting local senior citizens through home improvement and yard work assistance. Thank you to all of the alumni who gave their time, energy, and heart to make a meaningful impact in our community. We look forward to creating more opportunities for alumni to stay connected, serve, and give back together.
Trick-or-Tee with Leadership Visalia Alumni: Building Community, One Swing at a Time
The Leadership Visalia Alumni Network gathered for an evening of reconnecting and celebrating leadership in our community. A big thank you to Mulligans Sports Bar & Golf Club for hosting and to our Alumni Program Sponsor, Kaweah Health, for supporting lifelong leadership and community growth. We also appreciate our entire Alumni Network Committee and Co-Chairs, Stacy Heaton and Melissa Lopez, for bringing alumni together to reconnect, learn, and lead.
