I have learned who I am as a person and I have grown to understand my personal style of leadership in order to challenge myself and seek opportunities that will benefit my organization and my community.
The best part of this program was the relationships and lifetime friendships that I developed and will continue to maintain. The past nine months have proven very resourceful in many areas of my life and have allowed me to touch others in a positive way.
My fellow classmates taught me invaluable lessons about working with other leaders, discovering creative solutions to challenges, how to better myself in my career and that friendship can be found anywhere.
Participating in Leadership Visalia has challenged me to embrace professional obstacles as learning experiences, and has inspired me to see opportunities that enrich and foster a well-rounded personal leadership style.
My newly established connections with fellow community members and leaders has given me a deeper appreciation for what Leadership Visalia and the Chamber has worked so diligently to do - strengthen the existing leadership network and cultivate exceptional future leaders for our community.
