South Africa | Crossroads Mission Trip

The Visalia Chamber of Commerce's Young Professionals Network (YPN), in partnership with The House at CrossCity is organizing a mission trip to Durban, South Africa!

Dates: Friday, August 24 - Saturday, September 1, 2018

Cost: $3,000 (includes flights, lodging, transportation to and from LAX, meals (except on travel days), and one extracurricular activity) Don't worry, you'll be fundraising to help cover the cost of the trip

Project Summary: Crossroads CZN is a non-profit organization in Durban, South Africa whose mission is to work to alleviate human suffering and restore an individual’s dignity by addressing their immediate physical needs while offering meaningful solutions to the effects of poverty. They do this through establishing temporary Medical Clinics, ongoing Food Security, Micro -Development Projects that focus on skills training and Community Upliftment Projects, Education in the form of Peer Education in Secondary Schools and Edu-Care Programs (pre-Grade R schools) for the orphaned and vulnerable children.

The YPN group will help Crossroads with projects around: building, education and clean water.
