Network with business and community leaders and provide ideas for new programs at the Visalia Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Meeting happening next Thursday, April 29th at the Visalia Marriott. We invite you to get “Back to Basics” as we recognize the stars of the community and business arena. Breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Visalia Marriott and the cost is $25 for members and $40 for non-members.
We will be asking members for their feedback on new programs and services as we conduct the first-ever member roundtable sessions aimed at soliciting input for the Chamber’s strategic plan. We will be looking to our members for their thoughts and ideas as we plan another successful year making Visalia the ideal place to live, work, and do business.
Later in the agenda, we will recognize businesses who have been members from five years all the way up to those longstanding companies who have been with us for half a century. The Chamber’s many committees will be recognized for their hard work and dedication throughout the year. These volunteers are vital to the success of the Chamber and their contributions and accomplishments help advance the quality of life for Visalia and the local business environment.
Jim Laber will be presenting the Chairman’s Award, which pays tribute to an outstanding Chamber volunteer. The Ambassador of the Year and a Business Advocate of the Year will be honored and our newest board members will be introduced. Our achievements of the past fiscal year will be highlighted as we prepare for an exciting year ahead.
Come celebrate the past year and help plan for the future Thursday, April 29th, 2010 at our Annual Meeting. Registration includes breakfast and tickets can be purchased at the Visalia Chamber office located at 220 N. Santa Fe Street, (559)734-5876, or online. Space is limited, so reserve your ticket now.
