TPG Consulting, Inc. and The United Way of Tulare County have entered into a partnership to develop a College Access Initiative that will build resources and services for area parents and students.

Mr. Charles Clouse, AICP, PTP, Principal of TPG Consulting, has been selected to serve as an expert in the establishment of Transportation Standards for Smart Growth development.  The Study led by UC Davis’ Sustainable Transportation Center and Caltrans, will advance methodologies for the evaluation of transportation impacts from mixed use development. This research will assist cities in the understanding of future traffic, transit, pedestrian and bicycle demands generated by new smart-growth development projects. This new methodology will be used to identify effective multi-modal land use strategies leading toward sustainable development projects.

TPG Consulting, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Kevin VanKatwyk as its new Senior Civil Engineer. Mr. VanKatwyk brings 26 years of both private and public sector experience in civil engineering. His areas of expertise include transportation engineering, street design and the design of residential, commercial and industrial developments.

A new logo for the City of Dinuba’s transit service has been approved by the Dinuba City Council.

TPG Consulting recently completed design work for the roadway modifications necessary for the soon-to-be built Plaza Business Park in Visalia. After extensive planline preparation in cooperation with City staff, TPG provided signing & striping installation plans for Plaza Drive, Crowley Avenue, Hurley Avenue and Campus Drive (east and west), the signing & striping removal plans for Plaza Drive, Crowley Avenue and Hurley Avenue, and the traffic signal plans for the intersections of Plaza at Crowley and Plaza at Hurley.
