Join Sequoia Riverlands Trust for an Environmental Education Field Trip at KOP.

Sequoia Riverlands Trust (SRT) recently received a $25,000 Environmental Champions Award from the Sempra Energy Foundation. Funding will support SRT’s well-rounded environmental education program that directly benefits not only today’s youth, but also the community at large. Studies show that youth environmental education and outdoor learning opportunities reduce Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders, obesity, improve test scores, elevate self-esteem levels and increase problem-solving skills – all of which advance a healthy community.
