Kaweah Delta Medical Center will be adopting new expanded visiting hours starting June 1, 2010.

On May 27th at 9:30 am, prior to the First 5 Tulare County Commission meeting, Janet Hogan of First 5 Tulare County and Lindsay Mann, CEO and Gary Herbst, CFO of Kaweah Delta Health Care District will showcase the new Kaweah Delta Pediatric Specialty van.  County Supervisor Phil Cox and Health Services Director Ray Bullick will be present representing both the County of Tulare and First 5 for this presentation.

On April 29, 2010, Kaweah Delta modified the no-children visiting policy to provide for the visitation of siblings with the mother and new baby in the Mother Baby Unit in the Acequia Wing.

At last evening’s Board meeting, the Board interviewed nine candidates for the Board Zone II seat. After much deliberation, the Board unanimously voted to appoint Lynn Havard Mirviss to the Kaweah Delta Board of Directors Zone II seat.

Robotic Imaging Technology Begins March 15

The Board of Directors of Kaweah Delta Health Care District is seeking someone to serve as a member of the Board for the remainder of the term of Margaret Foley, Zone II, who resigned from the Board on March 1, 2010.

A reminder from the Kaweah Delta Medical Center - February is American Heart Month

This past Tuesday the Tulare County Board of Supervisors awarded Kaweah Delta with a Trauma III designation. Monday, February 1, the Trauma Center will officially open with a small ceremony in the Kaweah Delta Medical Center Acequia Wing lobby conference room.  Mr. Lindsay Mann, CEO and Dr. Rebecca Zulim, Medical Director of the Trauma Unit will be on hand at 8:30 am to ceremoniously cut the ribbon to this new service at Kaweah Delta.

Tulare County has officially designated Kaweah Delta Medical Center as its first Trauma Center, awarding Kaweah Delta with a Trauma III designation. The designation came today, Tuesday, January 26th after a meeting held with the Tulare County Board of Supervisors and Kaweah Delta Health Care District CEO, Lindsay Mann.
