The Clovis Rodeo Association, KISS Country Radio and the Central California Blood Center are preparing for the 10th Annual Rodeo Blood Drive and inviting the community to ride on in to the Visalia Donor Center on 1515 S. Mooney Boulevard and take part in a great, western life-saving tradition – Thursday, April 22.

The Clovis Rodeo Association is inviting cowgirls, or would-be cowgirls, to join them for the 3rd Annual Cowgirl U Luncheon on Saturday, March 20 at 11:30 a.m.  Attendees, dressed in western finery, will have the opportunity to meet special guests from the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) and rodeo royalty.

T.V. and radio talk show host, Sean Hannity, is again asking everyone to take part in the third Sean Hannity’s Great American Blood Drive to keep the San Joaquin Valley’s blood supply strong as we begin a new year.  New and returning donors are invited to give Monday, January 4th through Friday, January 8th at the Central California Blood Center on Mooney Blvd. Sean has taped blood drive radio spots and will call in during the week to encourage donations.

Remember the victims of 9/11 by giving blood in their memory or support Raiders Football on September 12th by helping to save lives...

Donors will receive a free T-shirt and be entered into a drawing every hour for a free child’s costume and candy!

All donors who give at any Central California Blood Center site in Fresno or Visalia or Sierra Vista Mall in Clovis will receive a coupon for a FREE pint of Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream and a commemorative T-shirt.

Whole blood donors making second or more donation, and Apheresis donors making their third or more donation, of the year, will receive their choice of thank you gifts; some new and some “vintage.”

Donors will receive a commemorative T-shirt featuring artwork by local artist Claudia Fletcher, along with rodeo performance discounts and the chance to meet champion cowboys & rodeo royalty!

The need for blood in the Central California area is up by as much as 30%, and more new and repeat donors are required to fulfill this demand.
